Stunning spot! The colour and clarity of the water has to be seen to be believed. Trial Bay is protected from southerly winds and a safe place to swim when conditions are calm. Water temp in February is warm and one can spend hours in the surf. Dogs are permitted further north of the Gaol and there is beach access at the start of the dog beach.
I have been visiting this park for over 15 years now and it never fails to disappoint. Plenty of wildlife including kangaroos, fish and birds. Views are fantastic and there is also a public BBQ area along with a quiet little beach area. Definitely reccommend visiting here if you're visiting the South West Rocks / Arakoon area.
Great place to visit. The old gaol, the dolphins and turtles in the surf, the ocean views, the forests, the kangaroos & koalas.. magic. We had a great day out from Port Macquarie.
Lovely location. Bike and walking trails. Lookouts, great views. Whale watching. Historic Trial Bay Goal well worth a visit. Great location for a absolute waterfront caravan park and camping area. Family friendly pristine waters in Trial Bay.
We did the Monument Hill walking track. Was a good walk. Beautiful view. We spotted a big brown snake on the way to Little Bay Beach. We let it take its time and it went into the bush. Always keep your eyes open.
